Narrative:
The following are transcripts form ACARS log of flight from tus-dfw. Captain was a manager. He waits until just seventeen min prior to departure time to send this nasty message. I hardly see where shv and thirty min holding is excessive when the drw taf forecasts 30% coverage of thunderstorms at his arrival time. We should remind him that there are reasons why far's require dispatch involvement in revenue flts -- one is to monitor destination WX. He was clearly clueless about the destination WX when he sent this insulting ACARS message. He also needs to be alerted of appropriate use of the ACARS, that all chief pilots have asked to keep ACARS traffic to operational necessity. This type of harassment from management should not be tolerated. The captain's message: way too much fuel dal and 20 would work fine. Disappointing shv as second altitude is way off. The dispatch reply: thunderstorms building in from the east. New revisions just issued for dfw. You're way out of line captain.
