Narrative:

We had 2 air carrier X aircraft going to nashville. Trainee meant to turn one and used the wrong (non-existent) call sign, other air carrier aircraft took turn and turned into other aircraft. It was all about the readback error -- d-side was off in space, no help at all. I was thinking about a training issue (why was he turning him so early) when readback error happened. Trainee was on top of noticing the turn when it happened. D-side might have caught error if he wasn't off in la-la-land.
