Narrative:
We arrived at jfk 1 1/2 hours prior to scheduled takeoff time of XB00 local. The aircraft arrived from an international flight approximately XA10. Due to customs, we were not permitted to board until XA45. Cleaning was in progress and the flight attendants were arguing with the gate agent about the cleaning of the cabin. I did the outside walk around. The captain did the cockpit programming and paperwork. On the before starting checklist challenge/response, I verified the correct tail number of aircraft back with a quick look at the inside page and, due to the cardboard overlap page, I failed to notice 3 open items pertaining to the cabin. On the parking checklist for logbook, the captain noticed the one page with 3 items: audio inoperative, seat xxc, tray table seat yyh, light inoperative at flight attendant station. None of these items were airworthiness or MEL. The items were corrected in mia.
