Narrative:
Pilot misunderstood the standard departure description. Procedure different for jet vs propeller aircraft. The written description is poorly written -- easy to misunderstand that turboprop aircraft do not use jet turbine procedure. As a result, pilot did not follow proper procedure and separation may have been lost.
