Narrative:

While in cruise on an IFR flight (in VFR conditions) I lost contact with center for about 30 mins. I just had a new radio stack put in my airplane and must have switched frequencys by mistake. I did not recognize the change for about 30 mins when I went back to the right frequency. I was still with the same controller. Almost no traffic. No conflicts. I will take care to double-check frequencys in the future. And although I was upset at this mistake, the controller seemed unconcerned because I was unconflicted and on airway.

Title: BE35 IFR AT 13000 FT LOST COM WITH ATC IN ZLA AIRSPACE.

Narrative: WHILE IN CRUISE ON AN IFR FLT (IN VFR CONDITIONS) I LOST CONTACT WITH CTR FOR ABOUT 30 MINS. I JUST HAD A NEW RADIO STACK PUT IN MY AIRPLANE AND MUST HAVE SWITCHED FREQS BY MISTAKE. I DID NOT RECOGNIZE THE CHANGE FOR ABOUT 30 MINS WHEN I WENT BACK TO THE RIGHT FREQ. I WAS STILL WITH THE SAME CTLR. ALMOST NO TFC. NO CONFLICTS. I WILL TAKE CARE TO DOUBLE-CHK FREQS IN THE FUTURE. AND ALTHOUGH I WAS UPSET AT THIS MISTAKE, THE CTLR SEEMED UNCONCERNED BECAUSE I WAS UNCONFLICTED AND ON AIRWAY.
