Narrative:
While on a takeoff roll to depart runway 11 at W29, upon reaching an airspeed of 70 mph, I glanced at my airspeed indicator. As I was glancing down I felt a sinking sensation, pulled slightly aft on the yoke (thinking I had departed the runway prematurely) to keep the nosewheel above the mains. As I was looking back out the windscreen, I heard a noise, I never heard before and notice the propeller had changed shape and the RPM's had drastically reduced. Realizing the propeller had struck the runway, I saw I had enough runway left to stop the plane. At this point I pulled the throttle back to idle, started my emergency checklist while trying to bring the plane to a gentle stop. All electrical and fuel system were shut off and the aircraft skidded down the runway and came to a rest on the runway. I quickly exited the airplane, called my insurance company and followed their directions from that point. (Upon exiting the plane I saw the gear was in the retracted position.)
