Narrative:

The problem arose when I was handed off from ZKC to kansas city approach. I was descending for 5500 ft from 7500 ft. I finished my descent while being handed off. Kansas city approach cleared me through B airspace at 4500 ft to mkc for landing. I responded 'negative, student pilot, I can't be there in B airspace.' approach responded with, 'hold on while I check, but I don't think that is right.' approach comes back with 'that's not right, but descend to 3500 ft.' by this time, I believe I had entered B airspace, but am not absolutely certain. From 3500 ft, I continued inbound to mkc without any further problem.
