Cabin pressurization warning horn sounded in cruise at FL370. Captain declared emergency with ATC and obtained clearance to descend to 10000 ft. Cabin altitude was 10000 ft and climbing slowly. First officer began rapid descent. Captain accomplished checklists, attendant notification and PA. Passing FL290 cabin altitude had recovered to approximately 5000 ft. Captain obtained clearance to level at 17000 ft. Flight proceeded to destination without further incident.
