Narrative:
On takeoff while advancing the throttles, the left throttle stopped moving half-way forward and could not be moved any further. The takeoff was aborted around 50 KTS. We returned to the gate for maintenance action.

Title: A B757-200 REJECTED TKOF AT 50 KTS DUE TO L THRUST LEVER STUCK AT HALF WAY FORWARD. CAUSE UNKNOWN.
Narrative: ON TKOF WHILE ADVANCING THE THROTTLES, THE L THROTTLE STOPPED MOVING HALF-WAY FORWARD AND COULD NOT BE MOVED ANY FURTHER. THE TKOF WAS ABORTED AROUND 50 KTS. WE RETURNED TO THE GATE FOR MAINT ACTION.
