Narrative:

Upon completion of ZZZ to ZZZ1 leg the 'btms' (brake temperature) readings on the right side brakes gave me cause for concern. Based on my recent previous experience in that aircraft, I convinced the captain that maintenance should be consulted. The right outboard brakes were cool while the right inboard system was showing unusually high temperatures. This would lead one to believe that the inboard brakes on the right side were doing 'all the work.' maintenance determined that the anti-skid system was faulty and could be deferred. When we determined that there was not anti-skid inoperative data in the runway analysis manual, nor in the QRH volume ii of supplementary data, we consulted our dispatcher. My captain and I were persuaded that, since there was no data on penalties for this system deferral, there was no applicable penalty and that dispatch of the aircraft was proper. Our dispatcher agreed with this conclusion. We departed and flew 4 legs that day under this deferral.

Title: A CANADAIR CRJ 700 WAS DISPATCHED IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE ANTI-SKID SYS DEFERRED PER THE MEL AS INOP BUT WITH NO RWY LIMITS OR PENALTIES.

Narrative: UPON COMPLETION OF ZZZ TO ZZZ1 LEG THE 'BTMS' (BRAKE TEMP) READINGS ON THE R SIDE BRAKES GAVE ME CAUSE FOR CONCERN. BASED ON MY RECENT PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN THAT ACFT, I CONVINCED THE CAPT THAT MAINT SHOULD BE CONSULTED. THE R OUTBOARD BRAKES WERE COOL WHILE THE R INBOARD SYS WAS SHOWING UNUSUALLY HIGH TEMPS. THIS WOULD LEAD ONE TO BELIEVE THAT THE INBOARD BRAKES ON THE R SIDE WERE DOING 'ALL THE WORK.' MAINT DETERMINED THAT THE ANTI-SKID SYS WAS FAULTY AND COULD BE DEFERRED. WHEN WE DETERMINED THAT THERE WAS NOT ANTI-SKID INOP DATA IN THE RWY ANALYSIS MANUAL, NOR IN THE QRH VOLUME II OF SUPPLEMENTARY DATA, WE CONSULTED OUR DISPATCHER. MY CAPT AND I WERE PERSUADED THAT, SINCE THERE WAS NO DATA ON PENALTIES FOR THIS SYS DEFERRAL, THERE WAS NO APPLICABLE PENALTY AND THAT DISPATCH OF THE ACFT WAS PROPER. OUR DISPATCHER AGREED WITH THIS CONCLUSION. WE DEPARTED AND FLEW 4 LEGS THAT DAY UNDER THIS DEFERRAL.
