Narrative:
While holding over nakes intersection at FL180 the controller cleared an airline jet to descend through our altitude. He was holding at FL190. He descended into us and we received an RA. I maneuvered the aircraft to avoid him. Center fessed up and admitted that he had mistakenly cleared aircraft Y to descend through our altitude.
