Narrative:

I was approaching padl from the southeast. I reported over nushagak point, then over grassy island for runway 1 over grassy island. I heard the C207 report 5 mi northeast. I was 4 mi from the airport and I was in the faster aircraft, so I assumed that I would be #1 in the pattern. I flew over the airport approximately midfield and around 600 ft. There were clouds around 1100-1200 ft. I reported overhead, making left turns for runway 1. Just before I crossed over the runway, less than 1/4 mi west of the runway before turning and entering the downwind, I saw the passenger's head swing to the left and then I looked left. I saw the C207 passing off to my left and I transmitted to the C207 pilot 'do you see me?' he replied 'no, where are you?' I replied 'just off your right wing.' he said 'I've got you and flew a short pattern and landed runway 1. He landed long which forced me to land a little longer than normal while the C207 cleared the runway.

Title: PA32 PLT FLEW WITHIN 50-100 FT OF A C207 WHILE ENTERING THE TFC PATTERN AT PADL.

Narrative: I WAS APCHING PADL FROM THE SE. I RPTED OVER NUSHAGAK POINT, THEN OVER GRASSY ISLAND FOR RWY 1 OVER GRASSY ISLAND. I HEARD THE C207 RPT 5 MI NE. I WAS 4 MI FROM THE ARPT AND I WAS IN THE FASTER ACFT, SO I ASSUMED THAT I WOULD BE #1 IN THE PATTERN. I FLEW OVER THE ARPT APPROX MIDFIELD AND AROUND 600 FT. THERE WERE CLOUDS AROUND 1100-1200 FT. I RPTED OVERHEAD, MAKING L TURNS FOR RWY 1. JUST BEFORE I CROSSED OVER THE RWY, LESS THAN 1/4 MI W OF THE RWY BEFORE TURNING AND ENTERING THE DOWNWIND, I SAW THE PAX'S HEAD SWING TO THE L AND THEN I LOOKED L. I SAW THE C207 PASSING OFF TO MY L AND I XMITTED TO THE C207 PLT 'DO YOU SEE ME?' HE REPLIED 'NO, WHERE ARE YOU?' I REPLIED 'JUST OFF YOUR R WING.' HE SAID 'I'VE GOT YOU AND FLEW A SHORT PATTERN AND LANDED RWY 1. HE LANDED LONG WHICH FORCED ME TO LAND A LITTLE LONGER THAN NORMAL WHILE THE C207 CLRED THE RWY.
