Narrative:
Sfo was using runways 1L and 1R for takeoff, and intersecting runways 28L and 28R for landing. We were in position and holding for takeoff on runway 1R. When cleared for takeoff I advanced the throttles and rolled immediately. As I rotated, at approximately the intersection of the runways we heard a B747 that had been cleared to land on runway 28R, call 'going around.' my first officer looked out the right side window and saw the B747 heading towards us. We shallowed our climb and no further conflict occurred. Probable cause was the tower not allowing adequate spacing between landing and departing aircraft during periods of restr visibility.

Title: POSSIBLE CONFLICT WHEN ACR DEPARTS RWY 1R AT SFO AND A B747 ABORTS LNDG ON RWY 28R.
Narrative: SFO WAS USING RWYS 1L AND 1R FOR TKOF, AND INTERSECTING RWYS 28L AND 28R FOR LNDG. WE WERE IN POS AND HOLDING FOR TKOF ON RWY 1R. WHEN CLRED FOR TKOF I ADVANCED THE THROTTLES AND ROLLED IMMEDIATELY. AS I ROTATED, AT APPROX THE INTXN OF THE RWYS WE HEARD A B747 THAT HAD BEEN CLRED TO LAND ON RWY 28R, CALL 'GOING AROUND.' MY FO LOOKED OUT THE R SIDE WINDOW AND SAW THE B747 HEADING TOWARDS US. WE SHALLOWED OUR CLB AND NO FURTHER CONFLICT OCCURRED. PROBABLE CAUSE WAS THE TWR NOT ALLOWING ADEQUATE SPACING BTWN LNDG AND DEPARTING ACFT DURING PERIODS OF RESTR VISIBILITY.
