Narrative:
As we were taking off out of cun I was flying #4 position. We felt a rough shift in the aircraft. I thought it was some cargo which had shifted. Later during the 'cruise' phase of flight the pilot explained that we had experienced an engine failure. The passenger became alarmed as did some of the flight attendants. Subsequently we spent a lot of time after that calming and reassuring passenger. We landed without incident. We were met by flight service and sadly it seemed that their main concern was that we would continue our flight sequence. One of the attendants was very disjointed. He looks latin and many of the spanish-only passenger were asking him all sorts of questions. He told me he didn't know if he could continue. After speaking with the dispatcher, he felt he must continue his sequence.

Title: A B757 FLT ATTENDANT RPTED AN ENG OUT DURING CRUISE, AFTER TKOF FROM CUN, DURING WHICH PAX AND FLT ATTENDANTS BECAME UPSET.
Narrative: AS WE WERE TAKING OFF OUT OF CUN I WAS FLYING #4 POS. WE FELT A ROUGH SHIFT IN THE ACFT. I THOUGHT IT WAS SOME CARGO WHICH HAD SHIFTED. LATER DURING THE 'CRUISE' PHASE OF FLT THE PLT EXPLAINED THAT WE HAD EXPERIENCED AN ENG FAILURE. THE PAX BECAME ALARMED AS DID SOME OF THE FLT ATTENDANTS.
