Narrative:
On aircraft line remain overnight, replaced the dimming module. When aircraft power was turned on for the originating flight, the new module popped the circuit breaker. I found the P-2 cannon plug was loose. I resecured cannon plug, ran an operations check, system normal. Captain returned to gate and reported every bump caused fire warning light to illuminate. Further troubleshooting found WX radar rack was putting pressure on the P-2 cannon plug. Contacted maintenance control. Decided to reinstall original module and place it back on MEL till it could be repaired. Installed original module and ran a functional check per maintenance manual. Operations checked normal -- no faults.
