Narrative:
We were on a visual approach for landing runway 9L at miami international airport. Approach control did not hand us over to tower. A landing was made without contact with the tower. Approach then told us to contact tower as we exited the runway. No conflict occurred.

Narrative: WE WERE ON A VISUAL APCH FOR LNDG RWY 9L AT MIAMI INTL ARPT. APCH CTL DID NOT HAND US OVER TO TWR. A LNDG WAS MADE WITHOUT CONTACT WITH THE TWR. APCH THEN TOLD US TO CONTACT TWR AS WE EXITED THE RWY. NO CONFLICT OCCURRED.
