Narrative:
Given crossing at hayed FL180, at 310 KTS. FMGS wasn't taking speed which took our attention for a few seconds. Between that and a late letdown, we had to descend at about 6000 FPM. We cross hayed intersection at FL205 and 5000 FPM, which made us level FL180 at 2.1 mi east of hayed. Nothing was said by center. We tried to call to get alleviation, but they were busy.
