Narrative:
Upon application of takeoff power, the takeoff warning horn sounded. Discontinued takeoff immediately (speed did not exceed 5 KIAS) and exited runway, advising tower. Discovered takeoff elevator trim setting to be in error, and corrected same. Re-ran checklists, re-entered takeoff sequence without incident. Checklist discipline is obviously a factor here, although I am usually quite the stickler for this and take great pride in my checklist discipline. I have no idea whether we just missed the item, or did the step but incorrectly so. We have recently removed a resetting of trim from the after landing checklist, which would be a contributing factor if the primary cause was our skipping the item completely.

Title: B767 CREW ABORTED THE TKOF AFTER THE TKOF WARNING HORN SOUNDED ON THRUST APPLICATION.
Narrative: UPON APPLICATION OF TKOF PWR, THE TKOF WARNING HORN SOUNDED. DISCONTINUED TKOF IMMEDIATELY (SPD DID NOT EXCEED 5 KIAS) AND EXITED RWY, ADVISING TWR. DISCOVERED TKOF ELEVATOR TRIM SETTING TO BE IN ERROR, AND CORRECTED SAME. RE-RAN CHKLISTS, RE-ENTERED TKOF SEQUENCE WITHOUT INCIDENT. CHKLIST DISCIPLINE IS OBVIOUSLY A FACTOR HERE, ALTHOUGH I AM USUALLY QUITE THE STICKLER FOR THIS AND TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN MY CHKLIST DISCIPLINE. I HAVE NO IDEA WHETHER WE JUST MISSED THE ITEM, OR DID THE STEP BUT INCORRECTLY SO. WE HAVE RECENTLY REMOVED A RESETTING OF TRIM FROM THE AFTER LNDG CHKLIST, WHICH WOULD BE A CONTRIBUTING FACTOR IF THE PRIMARY CAUSE WAS OUR SKIPPING THE ITEM COMPLETELY.
