Narrative:

Copilot and then I moved ailerons approximately 10 degrees left and right after he noticed a slight catching or binding with the ailerons. I contacted dispatch and maintenance controller and after discussing the issue, dispatch asked for an emergency into denver so we could minimize our bank angles on the approach. I also requested runway 16R for the length and width and did a 15 degree flap landing as a precaution. Noticed the same catching with the ailerons while hand flying on descent. Flight ended with no incident. Aircraft was met by maintenance and 3 FAA personal.
