Narrative:
During a VFR instructional flight with a primary student, we were practicing lndgs, with a 'no-power' approach. Due to strong tailwinds on downwind, we were making tight turns to final. One other plane was in the pattern also practicing lndgs. The student and CFI in the other plane had just passed off our wing on final when they called -- 'cessna abc' on final. We proceeded with our pattern. As we turned on final, they had landed and were still rolling, I assumed they were doing a touch and go, since they knew that we were on final. I looked away to talk to my student, when I looked up, the plane in front had stopped. I should have elected to go around, but instead continued the landing when I saw them roll. Unfortunately, they made a slow turn towards the taxiway. They were still on the runway, approximately 3000 ft ahead, when we touched down. Contributing factor: 2 instructional flts, strong xwinds. Corrective action: never assume and clear announcements of pattern intentions.

Title: C152 PRACTICING LNDGS AT DCU LANDS PRIOR TO PRECEDING ACFT CLRING RWY.
Narrative: DURING A VFR INSTRUCTIONAL FLT WITH A PRIMARY STUDENT, WE WERE PRACTICING LNDGS, WITH A 'NO-PWR' APCH. I SHOULD HAVE ELECTED TO GO AROUND, BUT INSTEAD CONTINUED THE LNDG WHEN I SAW THEM ROLL. UNFORTUNATELY, THEY MADE A SLOW TURN TOWARDS THE TXWY. THEY WERE STILL ON THE RWY, APPROX 3000 FT AHEAD, WHEN WE TOUCHED DOWN. CONTRIBUTING FACTOR: 2 INSTRUCTIONAL FLTS, STRONG XWINDS. CORRECTIVE ACTION: NEVER ASSUME AND CLR ANNOUNCEMENTS OF PATTERN INTENTIONS.
