Narrative:
Oct/fri/03, aircraft X had a history of elevator feel message on the EICAS in-flight. The decision was made to replace the elevator feel computer. I volunteered along with technician Y to work overtime and replace the elevator feel computer. We were done with the removal and installation of the elevator feel computer at around XA30. We inspected the elevator feel computer for leaks and operation of the elevator. No leaks were detected and elevator moved freely. I then signed off in the logbook for the work that we had done, which was removal and installation of the elevator feel computer. I then entered a log item for the remaining tests and chkout of the elevator feel computer, which was required to complete the operation. This was turned over to the graveyard lead amt and 2 amt's. The maintenance manual reference is 27-31-19-424-015 steps F, G, & H.
