Narrative:
On cross country with student, mulino, or, to tillamook, or. Overflew tillamook airport at 2500 ft AGL to view wind and runways and traffic. Noted bonanza turning south on taxiway a. C150 continued west to lose altitude. Turned base runway 1 and made radio report base to final. Upon crossing threshold of runway 1, I saw bonanza accelerating for takeoff. Decided to continue landing since bonanza was up to speed and then rotated for takeoff. C150 never heard takeoff call on radio from bonanza. Bonanza departed area. C150 landed and taxied to FBO to talk to people there. Observers noted no takeoff call from bonanza, yet heard landing call from C150. C150 waited at tillamook airport for approximately 20 mins then departed. After climbing to altitude, C150 tested radios. Communication checked ok with other aircraft 100 NM away. Instructor's action to continue landing saved lives. More radio communication would have prevented this.
