Narrative:
Our flight was cleared to lga via the 'eno.KORRY2' STAR. As descent started, we were cleared to hold at holey intersection as published with a 1 hour efc. I asked the first officer to load the holding instructions into the FMS, which he did. I got busy with the extended holding fuel computation, calling the company and flying the aircraft. After entering the hold, ATC notified us we were in the wrong side of the holding radial. I told ATC that we were going to correct on the next turn. He said fine, and no other exchange of the matter took place. This mishap happened because the database in our FMS never matches the holding definitions defined by procedures, also my failure to doublechk the first officer's work.
