Narrative:
The purpose of this flight was to move the aircraft from gzo to gle for maintenance. I was driven from denton to georgetown. On passing through waco, I called fort worth FSS, gave my n-number, and asked for WX information for a flight from gto to gle. I was told it would be VFR by XA00. At XA10, I departed gto and, shortly after, lost my radio. 2/3 mi north of gto, I tried to contact gray and found the second radio was also inoperative. Transponder squawking 1200 altitude. As conditions were suitable, I elected to continue NORDO. I flew along I35 for 1 hour 20 mins to gle. On arriving at gle, an unknown person gave me a note to call the supervisor at act TRACON. I called and was told that I had penetrated a tfr in the temple-waco area. I provided aircraft and personal information. He requested that I call gray, which I did. I had not seen anything on tv or radio to make me think of any restrs on this route. If, on talking to FSS, they had mentioned that the tfr was enlarged, I would have taken the necessary action to rerte this flight.
