Narrative:
Holding short of runway 9L at taxiway K5 with phl ground, got new taxi instructions. Thought it was left on taxiway Y, right on taxiway south. While crossing under the short final extended centerline of runway 9L on taxiway Y, I saw and heard aircraft on short final which initiated a go around because of our position. Ground control insisted they said 'Y-J-south,' which I cannot deny and makes more sense, although confusing to trace on the airport diagram.
