Narrative:
On position and hold on runway 8 at abq, tower was trying to squeeze out our departure between a landing aircraft and an arrival. Tower told the landing aircraft to expedite the turnoff of the runway. We were then cleared for an immediate takeoff. No heading was given by tower. During the climb out, departure asked if we were in the turn. We were flying straight as per radar vectors printed on the SID. We told departure that we were not given a turn. We closely monitored our position in regards to the egpws as there is obvious terrain east of abq.
