Narrative:
The captain had trouble programming the VNAV in the FMS during the arrival phase. This almost made the aircraft high for the first crossing fix on the arrival. The captain briefed the approach 20 mins prior to landing during a quiet phase of the arrival. During this brief, no mention was made of any mandatory altitudes on the ILS runway 6 teb. The crew was told to fly 080 degrees to intercept the localizer for runway 6 teb and fly inbound to the airport. The captain was trying to program the FMS for the ILS runway 6 teb. He was having trouble getting the programming done. This took his attention away from the required altitudes for the approach. The first officer was looking for traffic in this high density area at night. He did not realize the captain was not flying the ILS correctly until ny approach called and told the crew he must be 1500 ft at dandy. The captain started a descent and crossed dandy 100 ft high. The CRM was poor due to the crew not giving full attention to the approach procedure.

Title: A CESSNA CITATION FLT CREW FAIL TO MEET A XING RESTR WHILE DSNDING INTO TEB.
Narrative: THE CAPT HAD TROUBLE PROGRAMMING THE VNAV IN THE FMS DURING THE ARR PHASE. THIS ALMOST MADE THE ACFT HIGH FOR THE FIRST XING FIX ON THE ARR. THE CAPT BRIEFED THE APCH 20 MINS PRIOR TO LNDG DURING A QUIET PHASE OF THE ARR. DURING THIS BRIEF, NO MENTION WAS MADE OF ANY MANDATORY ALTS ON THE ILS RWY 6 TEB. THE CREW WAS TOLD TO FLY 080 DEGS TO INTERCEPT THE LOC FOR RWY 6 TEB AND FLY INBOUND TO THE ARPT. THE CAPT WAS TRYING TO PROGRAM THE FMS FOR THE ILS RWY 6 TEB. HE WAS HAVING TROUBLE GETTING THE PROGRAMMING DONE. THIS TOOK HIS ATTN AWAY FROM THE REQUIRED ALTS FOR THE APCH. THE FO WAS LOOKING FOR TFC IN THIS HIGH DENSITY AREA AT NIGHT. HE DID NOT REALIZE THE CAPT WAS NOT FLYING THE ILS CORRECTLY UNTIL NY APCH CALLED AND TOLD THE CREW HE MUST BE 1500 FT AT DANDY. THE CAPT STARTED A DSCNT AND CROSSED DANDY 100 FT HIGH. THE CRM WAS POOR DUE TO THE CREW NOT GIVING FULL ATTN TO THE APCH PROC.
