Narrative:

I replaced passenger survival pack on maintenance callout which asked for -24 serial number. I reduced that unit which has -24 serial number with new at #5 position. I found -24 (same dash number) at location #2 which expire at end of that month (october 2003). Following month record department found unit -24 at different location in the aircraft. It may be record keeping and updating overlook in labeling units.

Title: A B757-200 WAS FOUND DURING A PAX SURVIVAL PACK CHK OF UNITS OUT OF TIME IN CONFLICT WITH THE JOB CARD.

Narrative: I REPLACED PAX SURVIVAL PACK ON MAINT CALLOUT WHICH ASKED FOR -24 SERIAL NUMBER. I REDUCED THAT UNIT WHICH HAS -24 SERIAL NUMBER WITH NEW AT #5 POS. I FOUND -24 (SAME DASH NUMBER) AT LOCATION #2 WHICH EXPIRE AT END OF THAT MONTH (OCTOBER 2003). FOLLOWING MONTH RECORD DEPT FOUND UNIT -24 AT DIFFERENT LOCATION IN THE ACFT. IT MAY BE RECORD KEEPING AND UPDATING OVERLOOK IN LABELING UNITS.
