Narrative:
I was instructed not to remove insulation on aircraft ducts that weren't accessible and it would be done on later checks. Also engineering change order paperwork would be revised. When neither was accomplished we were in violation of said engineering change order paperwork. Work not accomplished and signed for being accomplished.

Title: MD80 TECHNICIANS WORKING AN ENGINEERING CHANGE ORDER TO REMOVE MYLAR INSULATION FROM PNEUMATIC DUCTING IN THE FORWARD ELECTRONICS COMPARTMENT, RPT MGMNT ORDER TO ONLY REMOVE MYLAR FROM ACCESSIBLE DUCTS ONLY.
Narrative: I WAS INSTRUCTED NOT TO REMOVE INSULATION ON ACFT DUCTS THAT WEREN'T ACCESSIBLE AND IT WOULD BE DONE ON LATER CHKS. ALSO ENGINEERING CHANGE ORDER PAPERWORK WOULD BE REVISED. WHEN NEITHER WAS ACCOMPLISHED WE WERE IN VIOLATION OF SAID ENGINEERING CHANGE ORDER PAPERWORK. WORK NOT ACCOMPLISHED AND SIGNED FOR BEING ACCOMPLISHED.
