Narrative:
Landed on runway 18R at cvg. We were going to be able to exit at D7. Tower may have thought otherwise and said to exit at taxiway J. As the captain began to make the turn at D7, I stated that tower wanted us to exit at taxiway J. We eased off the turn and proceeded down the runway to taxiway J. Tower then called and said to expedite to taxiway J, traffic on final, taxi north on taxiway D to 8S, contact air carrier ramp. As we exited onto taxiway J, we could not make the left turn onto taxiway D since we would have been head-to-head with a twin piper facing south on taxiway D short of taxiway J. The captain stopped the airplane on the runway side of the hold short line facing east. As I looked left, I saw an airplane on final, about to cross the threshold, and I stated we needed to clear the runway. To clear the runway would put our airplane in the intersection of taxiway J and taxiway D in front of the piper. The captain continued to hold on the runway side of the hold short lines as I tried to contact ground. It took 2 tries to get ground to respond. Ground told us to taxi straight ahead on taxiway J and call air carrier ramp at spot xx. I do not know if the airplane on short final landed or went around nor if the tower was aware of the piper on taxiway D.

Title: DOUBLE GND CONFLICT EXPERIENCED BY AN EMJ FLT CREW WHEN UNABLE TO CLR RWY 18R WITH TFC ON SHORT FINAL AND ANOTHER ACFT BLOCKING THE TXWY TO RAMP AT CVG.
Narrative: LANDED ON RWY 18R AT CVG. WE WERE GOING TO BE ABLE TO EXIT AT D7. TWR MAY HAVE THOUGHT OTHERWISE AND SAID TO EXIT AT TXWY J. AS THE CAPT BEGAN TO MAKE THE TURN AT D7, I STATED THAT TWR WANTED US TO EXIT AT TXWY J. WE EASED OFF THE TURN AND PROCEEDED DOWN THE RWY TO TXWY J. TWR THEN CALLED AND SAID TO EXPEDITE TO TXWY J, TFC ON FINAL, TAXI N ON TXWY D TO 8S, CONTACT ACR RAMP. AS WE EXITED ONTO TXWY J, WE COULD NOT MAKE THE L TURN ONTO TXWY D SINCE WE WOULD HAVE BEEN HEAD-TO-HEAD WITH A TWIN PIPER FACING S ON TXWY D SHORT OF TXWY J. THE CAPT STOPPED THE AIRPLANE ON THE RWY SIDE OF THE HOLD SHORT LINE FACING E. AS I LOOKED L, I SAW AN AIRPLANE ON FINAL, ABOUT TO CROSS THE THRESHOLD, AND I STATED WE NEEDED TO CLR THE RWY. TO CLR THE RWY WOULD PUT OUR AIRPLANE IN THE INTXN OF TXWY J AND TXWY D IN FRONT OF THE PIPER. THE CAPT CONTINUED TO HOLD ON THE RWY SIDE OF THE HOLD SHORT LINES AS I TRIED TO CONTACT GND. IT TOOK 2 TRIES TO GET GND TO RESPOND. GND TOLD US TO TAXI STRAIGHT AHEAD ON TXWY J AND CALL ACR RAMP AT SPOT XX. I DO NOT KNOW IF THE AIRPLANE ON SHORT FINAL LANDED OR WENT AROUND NOR IF THE TWR WAS AWARE OF THE PIPER ON TXWY D.
