Narrative:

Just past petti intersection on arrival to stl, received a call from #1 flight attendant that a passenger was ill. Passenger was on heart medications and was pale and sweating. Declared medical emergency with stl approach control and received priority handling to stl from approximately 40 mi out. Asked for and received EMS at gate on arrival. Notified operations of situation and proceeded with expeditious approach. Landed on runway 30L and taxied directly to gate. Passenger was on oxygen and awake in seat. EMS personnel attended to passenger in seat upon gate arrival.
