Narrative:
During flight test (practical examination) for issuance of private select my applicant was instructed, 'cleared to land on runway 34.' applicant mistakenly landed on runway 30. Due to high winds, my attention was more focused on the applicant's high workload dealing with winds which were near the crosswind limits of the aircraft. The applicant performed an acceptable crosswind landing but, due to it being on the wrong runway, I disqualified him, and issued an FAA form 8060.5.
