Narrative:
As my student and I rolled out after landing on runway 9 at eyw, we were about 30 ft from taxiing off the active runway when I looked up only to see a cessna (high wing) aircraft approaching runway 27 from the complete opposite direction. Just before I was able to get on the radio and say something, the tower told that aircraft to 'go around!' and that he had 'made the approach to the wrong runway.' I am not quite sure how he/she made it down so close to the threshold of runway 27 without realizing what he/she was doing, and I am surprised that the tower did not let him/her know earlier that their aircraft was setting up for the approach to the wrong runway. I am just glad nothing happened and that everyone is safe.
