Narrative:
Passenger suspected of smoking in the lavatory. (Because of a smoky smell after he left the lavatory.) when confronted by #2 flight attendant he had been smoking and gave his identify to flight attendant to fill out in-flight disturbance report. Passenger was cooperative and no further action was necessary. (Cockpit crew had been advised and alerted ground personnel before our arrival.)

Title: AN MDS80 FLT ATTENDANT RPTED THAT A SMOKING PAX ACTUALLY TOOK RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIS ACTIONS DURING A FLT FROM LGA TO FLL.
Narrative: PAX SUSPECTED OF SMOKING IN THE LAVATORY. (BECAUSE OF A SMOKY SMELL AFTER HE LEFT THE LAVATORY.) WHEN CONFRONTED BY #2 FLT ATTENDANT HE HAD BEEN SMOKING AND GAVE HIS IDENT TO FLT ATTENDANT TO FILL OUT INFLT DISTURBANCE RPT. PAX WAS COOPERATIVE AND NO FURTHER ACTION WAS NECESSARY. (COCKPIT CREW HAD BEEN ADVISED AND ALERTED GND PERSONNEL BEFORE OUR ARR.)
