Narrative:
While demonstrating an accelerated stop distance maneuver with a multi-engine applicant, the duchess be-76 landed hard causing a blow-out of the right main tire, and damage to the left main tire. Also some cracking of the right wingtip was found causing the tip to need replacement before the aircraft will be airworthy. After the tires were replaced by maintenance personnel, more less-noticeable damage was noted and a complete inspection was ordered by FAA inspectors before the aircraft could be moved for complete inspection. Wing damage is suspected. Supplemental information from acn 6027235: I then released the brakes and accelerated to vr 71 KTS and lifted off. I climbed and pulled power as instructed, and realizing an increasing sink rate, my instructor said 'add power.' I added power and at the same time my instructor said 'I have the flight controls.' he immediately tried to slow the landing rollout. Upon landing, we blew the right main tire and my instructor cautiously taxied off the runway out of the way.

I CLBED AND PULLED PWR AS INSTRUCTED, AND REALIZING AN INCREASING SINK RATE, MY INSTRUCTOR SAID 'ADD PWR.' I ADDED PWR AND AT THE SAME TIME MY INSTRUCTOR SAID 'I HAVE THE FLT CTLS.' HE IMMEDIATELY TRIED TO SLOW THE LNDG ROLLOUT. UPON LNDG, WE BLEW THE R MAIN TIRE AND MY INSTRUCTOR CAUTIOUSLY TAXIED OFF THE RWY OUT OF THE WAY.
