Narrative:
I did not witness actual incident, but heard #4 ask passenger to turn off cell phone as we were pushing back. Passenger 'flipped off' #4 flight attendant and did not comply. We returned to gate. Passenger very mouthy, loud and disruptive when agents came to remove her, physically aggressive. Witnesses informed #4 flight attendant she had been drinking in boarding lounge.

Title: AN MDS80 FLT ATTENDANT RPTED THAT A PAX REFUSED TO TURN OFF HER CELL PHONE, WHICH RESULTED IN THE CAPT'S RETURNING TO THE GATE AND DEPLANING THE NON COMPLIANT PAX.
Narrative: I DID NOT WITNESS ACTUAL INCIDENT, BUT HEARD #4 ASK PAX TO TURN OFF CELL PHONE AS WE WERE PUSHING BACK. PAX 'FLIPPED OFF' #4 FLT ATTENDANT AND DID NOT COMPLY. WE RETURNED TO GATE. PAX VERY MOUTHY, LOUD AND DISRUPTIVE WHEN AGENTS CAME TO REMOVE HER, PHYSICALLY AGGRESSIVE. WITNESSES INFORMED #4 FLT ATTENDANT SHE HAD BEEN DRINKING IN BOARDING LOUNGE.
