Narrative:
Was given control on aircraft at FL410. Was not referenced aircraft at FL390. Descended first aircraft and, when conflict alert activated, issued turns that were not enough. Supplemental information from acn 604275: as the radar associate I noticed an aircraft on the uret coming from ZME landing at an airport in ZTL that, when coming from ZID, needed to cross the ZID/ZTL down to FL230 on specific routing. I called ZME to get control of the aircraft in their airspace and they gave me blanket control without referencing traffic.

Title: ZID CTLR LOSS OF SEPARATION, CONFLICTING TFC WAS NOT REFED DURING XFER OF CTL.
Narrative: WAS GIVEN CTL ON ACFT AT FL410. WAS NOT REFED ACFT AT FL390. DSNDED FIRST ACFT AND, WHEN CONFLICT ALERT ACTIVATED, ISSUED TURNS THAT WERE NOT ENOUGH. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 604275: AS THE RADAR ASSOCIATE I NOTICED AN ACFT ON THE URET COMING FROM ZME LNDG AT AN ARPT IN ZTL THAT, WHEN COMING FROM ZID, NEEDED TO CROSS THE ZID/ZTL DOWN TO FL230 ON SPECIFIC ROUTING. I CALLED ZME TO GET CTL OF THE ACFT IN THEIR AIRSPACE AND THEY GAVE ME BLANKET CTL WITHOUT REFING TFC.
