Narrative:
I had been assigned a ready reserve position, ready reserve position #1, XA00-XI00. Crew schedule then amended my show time to XC15 due to rest requirements. At approximately XA00, crew scheduling called my cell phone and caller, no name given, said 'hello, oops, I'm sorry.' I knew this was crew scheduling and I informed them that I had discussed this possibility with person X in crew scheduling the previous evening, yet crew scheduling called me anyway violating my rest period. No assignment was given to me at this time. The scheduler asked if I wanted to speak with a supervisor. I said no, I was going to return to rest for another 8 hours for the interruption. At approximately XB00, the chief pilot office called me to discuss this. I told him what had happened and he then said he would call schedule to find out more information. I informed him that he, too, was violating my rest period. At approximately XB25, he called again, encouraging me to show up and take this assignment. We discussed this further and I again said that I was still in my rest period until XC15 and that this was the 3RD interruption. He said that he had discussed it within the office and that I should take the assignment or get a missed assignment. I felt that I was unreasonably instructed to fly or face a disciplinary action due to the missed assignment.
