Narrative:
On final after gear selected down, we had a gear not down and left side brace advisory light as well as a landing gear monitor status message. Accomplished checklist. Vectored to holding point north of dfw and troubleshot. Consulted with maintenance controller, all agreed that it was probably a sensor problem, but a low pass was done to visually confirm gear down and locked. Came back around to land, stopped on the runway. Arff was standing by and mechanics pinned our gear and assessed damage. We were able to taxi to gate.
