Narrative:
Removal and installation of a nosewheel on airbus 319. The job was completed and current paperwork was used. Due to multiple mechanics in this job and time restraint, there was miscom. A misunderstanding took place between both parties, each had thought the other had done the signoff of maintenance records. The aircraft did not leave ZZZ until all paperwork was done and a maintenance release was accomplished.
