Narrative:
On jan/wed/04, a B757 pushed back from gate at ZZZ county airport. Ramp crews from air carrier X sequence X, jan/wed/04, ZZZ acp: ZZZ ramp personnel broke towbar during pushback. Ramp personnel visually inspected nose gear and found no damage. Crew exercised tiller and all operations normal. I asked what qualification this person has to determine, after overstressing the landing gear, what he or she is to look for? What manuals and procedures were followed to assure all steps were taken to assure there were no defects from the gear stress? Air carrier X has seemed to have lost their vision on quality maintenance. This is just one of many sits that has happened at this airline.
