Narrative:
Approximately 20-30 seconds into the takeoff roll, the brakes were strongly applied which brought the aircraft to a complete stop. The captain made a PA that a faulty engine light had come on and we then taxied back to the terminal gate and the aircraft was taken OTS.

Title: AN AIRBUS 300 CABIN ATTENDANT RPTS A REJECTED TKOF DUE TO A FAULTY ENG LIGHT. ACFT TAXIED TO TERMINAL AND REMOVED FROM SVC.
Narrative: APPROX 20-30 SECONDS INTO THE TKOF ROLL, THE BRAKES WERE STRONGLY APPLIED WHICH BROUGHT THE ACFT TO A COMPLETE STOP. THE CAPT MADE A PA THAT A FAULTY ENG LIGHT HAD COME ON AND WE THEN TAXIED BACK TO THE TERMINAL GATE AND THE ACFT WAS TAKEN OTS.
