Narrative:
Rolling down runway for takeoff, I heard a pop. The aircraft's brakes were put on immediately and then we went off onto the taxiway. The captain made a PA immediately. Fire trucks, ambulances, company maintenance, miami dade vehicles and police came out. 1 hour 25 mins brakes cooled off and we were towed to gate. Aircraft taken OTS. Replacement found and we headed off for mbj. 1 flight attendant was removed as he was shaken by incident (flight attendant #4).

Title: B727 HAS A REJECTED TKOF DUE TO AN ENG PROB. EXTENDED BRAKE COOLING WAIT IS REQUIRED. ONE 'VERY SHAKEN' CABIN ATTENDANT REMOVED FROM THE CREW.
Narrative: ROLLING DOWN RWY FOR TKOF, I HEARD A POP. THE ACFT'S BRAKES WERE PUT ON IMMEDIATELY AND THEN WE WENT OFF ONTO THE TXWY. THE CAPT MADE A PA IMMEDIATELY.
