Narrative:
First class passenger was told by flight attendant to return to her seat as she kept walking throughout first class galley to use lavatory. Passenger was insulted. Flight attendant #6 went back to apologize. Passenger now became verbally abusive. Flight attendant #6 walked away to avoid confrontation. At that point, passenger unbuckled her seat belt and literally ran after her through our galley and up the other aisle where she grabbed flight attendant #6 by the back of her belt and spun her around trying to hit her. Passenger in first class held on to the woman trying to stop her. I intervened and told her to stop. I explained she was interfering with crew members and has committed a federal offense. I explained the captain would land and have her arrested had she not immediately sat down. Flight attendant #6 worked coach after incident. She followed my instructions and no further incidents took place. Flight attendant #6 was badly shaken and pulled from the next leg. Lapd and fbi met us upon arrival in lax.
