Narrative:

My job is an aircraft mechanic. I work for air carrier X at the ZZZ international airport. My current work assignment is to overhaul various engine accessories. One of the components that I work on is called an electro-valve. Its function is fuel related. On one of the electro-valves that I overhauled, I attached the wrong I and right identify tag to the unit. The unit was then transported to ZZZ1 international airport without the proper paperwork which would have listed it as a hazardous item. I was advised by my foreman on feb/tue/04, of the problem. She told me that it was under investigation.
