Narrative:
Using plantronics DE8558 L2 headset, 2 occurrences in 2 days (2 different headsets) where cord came disconnected at the top (ear piece) location. Went to standby and buec then hand set. All aircraft were separated but it caused a large increase in workload.

Title: ZMP ARTCC RADAR CTLR PLANTRONICS HEADSET CORD BECAME DISCONNECTED WHILE CTLING TFC.
Narrative: USING PLANTRONICS DE8558 L2 HEADSET, 2 OCCURRENCES IN 2 DAYS (2 DIFFERENT HEADSETS) WHERE CORD CAME DISCONNECTED AT THE TOP (EAR PIECE) LOCATION. WENT TO STANDBY AND BUEC THEN HAND SET. ALL ACFT WERE SEPARATED BUT IT CAUSED A LARGE INCREASE IN WORKLOAD.
