Narrative:
The frequency at sector 55 (134.6) stopped working. I tried standby and buec, which also failed. Aircraft X out of jfk was turned off J110, 15 degrees right at the time of occurrence. I wasn't sure at the time if he received the clearance. As it turned out, he did and I eventually lost separation with aircraft Y on J48 at FL280. We tried getting in touch with aircraft via buec, standby, guard frequencys, and company frequency, none of which worked in time.

Title: A ZNY ARTCC RADAR CTLR LOSES SECTOR FREQ SHORTLY AFTER TFC WAS PUT ON A VECTOR RESULTING IN A LOSS OF SEPARATION.
Narrative: THE FREQ AT SECTOR 55 (134.6) STOPPED WORKING. I TRIED STANDBY AND BUEC, WHICH ALSO FAILED. ACFT X OUT OF JFK WAS TURNED OFF J110, 15 DEGS R AT THE TIME OF OCCURRENCE. I WASN'T SURE AT THE TIME IF HE RECEIVED THE CLRNC. AS IT TURNED OUT, HE DID AND I EVENTUALLY LOST SEPARATION WITH ACFT Y ON J48 AT FL280. WE TRIED GETTING IN TOUCH WITH ACFT VIA BUEC, STANDBY, GUARD FREQS, AND COMPANY FREQ, NONE OF WHICH WORKED IN TIME.
