Narrative:
I was sebound from ZZZ2. Had just crossed over ZZZ airport and had just changed frequencys from ZZZ to ZZZ1 on 126.05. Told the ZZZ1 tower I had 'landing issued and landing in sight' after noticing my temperature gauge was extremely hot and a chip indicating light came on. Landed in open field. I shut down helicopter and checked oil and hydraulic oil and showed to be extremely low. Had recently put helicopter into shop 2 times previously in the last 60 days for leaks and was told problem was corrected. Have again put helicopter in shop to fix problem at FBO X. The field that I had to land in was apparently owned by a school that was very upset that I landed on their property. I explained to the vice principal that I didn't have any other options and that I landed in the most open field available. But he said he was concerned about security and that he was upset. I said that I was sorry and that I had no other place I could set the helicopter down. There were no children or people in the field and the only field I could land quickly and safely in.
