Narrative:
Cruise flight at 11500 ft heading 065 degrees near reagan airport, intercepted by military fighter jets. Called up ZDC (after trying 121.5 with no luck) and they gave me a squawk code and vectored me to martin state airport, md, where I was escorted by united states customs helicopter with 4 united states customs agents aboard. After they checked my pilot's license, medical and driver's license and questioning and search of my airplane I was released and informed I allegedly intruded on an ADIZ over washington, dc. They called potomac approach on cell phone and I talked to an investigator and he said I would be hearing from the FAA. These men were professional and courteous and fully armed. One was even carrying a machine gun. I am really thankful I didn't have any passenger (women, mom, daughter or granddaughter) to witness the agent with the drawn machine gun on this C172 pilot sitting on the airport tarmac which is enclosed with a 6 ft chain link fence.

Title: AIR INTERCEPT ON AN INTRUDING C172 PLT AT 11500 FT IN THE DC ADIZ AREA NEAR DCA, DC.
Narrative: CRUISE FLT AT 11500 FT HDG 065 DEGS NEAR REAGAN ARPT, INTERCEPTED BY MIL FIGHTER JETS. CALLED UP ZDC (AFTER TRYING 121.5 WITH NO LUCK) AND THEY GAVE ME A SQUAWK CODE AND VECTORED ME TO MARTIN STATE ARPT, MD, WHERE I WAS ESCORTED BY UNITED STATES CUSTOMS HELI WITH 4 UNITED STATES CUSTOMS AGENTS ABOARD. AFTER THEY CHKED MY PLT'S LICENSE, MEDICAL AND DRIVER'S LICENSE AND QUESTIONING AND SEARCH OF MY AIRPLANE I WAS RELEASED AND INFORMED I ALLEGEDLY INTRUDED ON AN ADIZ OVER WASHINGTON, DC. THEY CALLED POTOMAC APCH ON CELL PHONE AND I TALKED TO AN INVESTIGATOR AND HE SAID I WOULD BE HEARING FROM THE FAA. THESE MEN WERE PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS AND FULLY ARMED. I AM REALLY THANKFUL I DIDN'T HAVE ANY PAX (WOMEN, MOM, DAUGHTER OR GRANDDAUGHTER) TO WITNESS THE AGENT WITH THE DRAWN MACHINE GUN ON THIS C172 PLT SITTING ON THE ARPT TARMAC WHICH IS ENCLOSED WITH A 6 FT CHAIN LINK FENCE.
