Narrative:
I became ill at FL410. I had first officer take over the PF duties and I took over the PNF duties. We declared a medical emergency after consulting with flight dispatch and diverted to land at memphis international. After normal landing, I taxied clear of runway 36R and the ambulance took me to the hospital. I was given some fluids and all tests run turned out negative. I was released. The flight landed with a fuel imbal of about 2700 pounds. We were distraction from the developing imbal because of the illness and the diversion. We caught the imbal and we landed in the correct fuel confign, left and right pump all on, ctrs off, xfeed closed.
